Privacy policy

Last updated:

This policy explains how GSC International Ltd. handles personal information when you visit our website or contact us about our services.

1. Who we are

GSC International Ltd. ("GSC", "we", "us" or "our") is the controller of personal information we receive and use for the purposes described in this policy. Our UK head office is at 14–18 Great Titchfield Street, London, W1W 8BD, United Kingdom.

For privacy questions, requests or concerns, email info@4gsc.com, telephone +44 (0)20 8798 0836, or write to our head office marked "Privacy enquiry".

2. Information we collect

When you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, telephone number, company, area of interest, message and any other information you choose to provide. We may also keep correspondence and information needed to discuss a potential project or manage our business relationship with you.

When you browse the site, our hosting and delivery providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, pages requested, timestamps and security or diagnostic logs to deliver and protect the website.

Information is normally provided by you or your browser. Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary and we have agreed a suitable way to receive it. You are not required to provide personal information simply to browse. Without contact details or relevant project information, we may be unable to respond to an enquiry or provide a requested service.

3. How the inquiry form works

The website's "Compose inquiry" form prepares an email in your own email application. It does not send your message automatically or submit the form to a GSC website database. We receive the enquiry only if you review and send the email. Your email provider handles the message under its own terms and privacy policy.

If you contact us by email or telephone, the information you provide is handled as correspondence under this policy. The website's technical hosting and diagnostic processing is separate from the email-composition feature.

4. How and why we use information

We use enquiry and correspondence details to answer questions, understand project requirements and manage professional relationships. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact us and operating our business, taking account of your rights and interests.

Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, or we provide services under a contract with you, we use relevant information because it is necessary for those steps or that contract. Correspondence with representatives of a business is generally handled on the basis of our legitimate interests in managing that business relationship.

We use technical information for our legitimate interests in delivering, maintaining and securing the website. We may also process information where necessary to meet a legal obligation, respond to a lawful request, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Where consent is required for a particular use, we will ask for it separately. Sending an enquiry is not consent to unrelated marketing.

The current website does not make decisions about you through automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Who information may be shared with

We may share relevant information with authorised GSC personnel and service providers who support hosting, security, email, IT and professional administration. The website uses Manus hosting infrastructure. These providers receive information appropriate to the services they supply.

Where necessary to respond to your request or support a project, information may be shared with relevant associate offices, specialist partners or professional advisers. We may also disclose information to authorities where legally required, or where necessary to protect legal rights. We do not sell personal information. Contact us if you would like details of recipients relevant to your enquiry.

6. International processing

GSC works internationally, and some service providers or project partners may process information outside the United Kingdom. Any transfer by GSC that is restricted under UK data protection law must be supported by a permitted transfer mechanism, such as UK adequacy regulations or appropriate contractual safeguards, where required. You can contact us to ask about destinations and obtain information about safeguards relevant to your information.

7. How long information is kept

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected. For enquiries, we consider whether the enquiry is resolved, whether follow-up is reasonably expected and whether it develops into a business relationship. For business correspondence, we consider the duration of that relationship and any applicable accounting, legal, regulatory or claims requirements.

Technical logs are retained according to their operational or security purpose and the relevant provider's arrangements. Information should be deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed, subject to legitimate legal preservation requirements. Contact us for retention information specific to your enquiry.

8. Cookies, hosting and external fonts

The current website application does not set its own advertising cookies or include a dedicated analytics tracker. Hosting infrastructure may use technical storage or process request and diagnostic information to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the site. Development previews may include additional diagnostic tools and are not a separate public service offered by GSC.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser makes requests to Google's servers, which may disclose your IP address and browser-related information to Google. Google's processing is explained in its privacy policy.

You can manage cookies and similar storage through your browser settings; blocking required functionality may affect how a website works. If we introduce additional tracking, we will update the information provided and obtain consent where the law requires it. This policy is not itself a request for, or record of, cookie consent.

9. Security

We aim to protect personal information through appropriate technical and organisational measures and by limiting access to people who need it for their work. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please take care when sending confidential information by email and contact us if you need a suitable alternative.

10. Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances and the lawful basis used, UK data protection law may give you the right to access your information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict processing or receive certain information in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Your right to object: you can object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You can also object to the use of your personal information for direct marketing at any time.

To exercise a right, contact info@4gsc.com. We may need reasonable information to verify your identity and understand your request. We will respond within the time limits set by applicable law. Some rights are subject to conditions or exceptions.

If you have a concern, please contact us so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. You do not need our permission to contact the regulator.

Our website links to external services, including LinkedIn and X. Following a link takes you to a service operated by another organisation, whose privacy policy applies to its activities. We do not control those websites and encourage you to review their policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website, our practices or applicable law. The latest version will be available on this page with an updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
